This painting is based on the Princess and the pea. She supposedly had a terrible night's sleep because of a pea under her mattress....But i say not!!! I think it was because she was up late with a bright light glaring on her, drinking red wine and playing music on the gramophone. In fact, in my pikky, the peas is on the floor!!! I have tried to paint the matresses with a Gustav Klimt feel. Just a fun, half-naked painting which looks amazing on the wall.
